BATi provides
its customers with magneto-optic (MO) films on various substrates, such
as glass, patterned silicon, GGG, MgO and sapphire. BATi's MO films
are designed for novel optical devices such as modulators, switches,
circulators and isolators. They also have great applications in the
remote sensing. Currently available MO thin film products including
yttrium iron garnet (YIG) and bismuth and aluminum substituted YIG films.
The Faraday rotation was measured through the thickness of the films
at 633 nm.
